How do you watch the show?
I'm a bit weird... but I can't stand to watch the show out of order.  Which means that I always start at the first episode.  The problem with that is sometimes I get busy and don't make time to watch for a few weeks... and I have to start back from the start.  So I have watched the entire series start to finish many times over, but I have seen the first few seasons many more times.

Usually the only exception to this is when I want to watch a specific scene for something I'm writing, but recently I forced myself to just pop in a random disc and watch.  It was fun and I am going to try and do that more often.

And I am thinking I am going to do my own little personal marathon of seasons 4 and 5.  I really do love all of the seasons equally and I feel like these two haven't gotten enough of my attention.

Anyone else a big freak like me?

nope...i am not a big freak like you :D

i tend to watch s3 more then any other (well, i probably watch s1 as much, but only certain episodes)...but here is where my big freakiness comes in to play. i have watched episodes 302-208 probably more than any other. yep, that's right, i've watched 302 and 307 far more than fandom faves like 309 or 311 or 314. :X

and to be fair, i don't own s5 yet :( i rent it often or watch online, but not owning it definitely limits my viewing.

i almost never watch s2 past episode 204.

so i'm not weird like you, but i'm a bit weird i'd say.

Seems that everyone has their own brand of freak when it comes to watching the show.

Interesting, I watch the show quite differently! I tend to get in the mood for a certain scene/episode/arc, so I bounce around a lot. I also tend to rewatch my favorites pretty regularly, so I'm very familiar with the B/J parts of 107-110, 201-204, 213-214, nearly all of S3, 407-409, and 510-511.

I'm currently marathoning the entire show with qaf_rewind on LJ, and that's actually a bit of a change for me because I so rarely stop and watch entire episodes in a row like that. I've been surprised at how much stuff I had forgotten (particularly from S1, which I don't rewatch often -- as seasons go it's not my fave).

I don't seem to be good at following any of the marathons, because I am not patient enough to watch one a week... and I can't watch out of order :) But I'm working on it!

I tend to marathon 1-5, but I rarely watch all of S2. It hurts me too much.

I love 301-307.... that might be my favorite arc.

My form of crazy forces me to watch the sad parts even if I don't want to... It is a sickness.

I'm pretty much a freak like you! Watch from beginning to end and then start all over again. Though I will watch specific episodes or arcs for a fic or discussion whenever I need to.

Yup, that is pretty much how I do it. Thank god I'm not the only freak ;)

I watch wily nily. LOL

I'll go from 308 to 410 and back to 118. snicker. There's no method to my madness. ;) So, yes, big freak, just like you. ;)

I did this the other night and it is fun. I need to do that a little more often.

I've never admitted to this before but I have yet to watch all the episodes all the way through.
I fell in love with Gale before I fell in love with QAF so when I got my hands on the dvds I skipped everyone else's scenes and just fast forwarded to the Brian and Justin parts. That's got to be a special kind of weird all on it's own right? lol
Like you though, when I'm in the mood to watch it, I tend to go back to the beginning. I like the build up to the special moments and I don't think you feel it as strongly if you just jump right in.
I've started my own marathon viewing sessions on a few occasions (trying my best not to hit the FF button) but I never make it to the Ethan fiasco because it hurts too much. Early season three Brian absolutely kills me!
I absolutely adore Ted and Emmet so one day soon I will force myself to sit and watch them properly but I will have to hide the remote first.

Once you give the whole series a chance, you are going to fall in love all over again. If nothing else I think watching the other characters actually gives you a better understanding of Brian and Justin.

I love that everyone seems to have their own special way of watching the show.
