As I've mentioned before, my husband would rather I stopped talking about QAF, but now and then when I'm really stuck on a story I try to convince him to help me brainstorm.

I'm desperate for an idea for the weather/vacation challenge and this is what he came up with:

1. Justin's boyfriend dumps him so he decides to get away to Hawaii. When he gets there his ex is staying at the same hotel with his new boyfriend. Justin is depressed but he is cheered up by Brian, the hot helpful guy that works behind the front desk. (This is the plot to Forgetting Sarah Marshall for anyone who hasn't seen it)

2. Justin goes on vacation to visit his eccentric storm chaser uncle and somehow gets trapped in a balloon that floats away. Brian tracks the balloon, saves Justin and they fall in love.

I'm not sure if his plan is to give me the worst possible ideas so I stop asking OR if maybe he is a bad!fic genius!
